Obama Nervous About Attacking Palin

With 18 million members of his own party rejecting him in the primaries and the millions of women chiding his brand of gender attack politics, team Obama is weary of attacking Palin.

This is a great strategy by team McCain. Back your opponent against the wall with no room to maneuver. Team McCain laid the attack by quickly bringing up the 'sexism' charge, neutralizing any rebuttals from Obama.

Here is an example of the trepidation at team Obama:

Sen. Obama's response to this criticism Thursday was puzzlement. At a brief press conference with reporters in York, Pa., he said he believed Gov. Palin's work as mayor was fair game. "I assume she wants to be treated the same ways that guys want to be treated," he said. "I've been through this for 19 months, she's been through it for four days or so."
