Remember Zima? It had meteoric rise as curiously new alcoholic drink but then crashed as the novelty wore off. The trial phase was great but the repeat phase was a disaster.
Seems like the curiosity with Obama is something along that vein.

I’m convinced much of Obama’s support to date is more a function of the public’s curiosity with his narrative than support for his policies. Americans seem highly interested in this campaign but still uninformed about the candidates’ positions on many issues.
